Vudu Villagers- Superblocks

I headed back to the bakery; some Tuscan Herb bread sure sounded good. Dipped in olive oil from the trees where Vincent paints. Divine. After enjoying some local homemade products, I spent time in the recently developed superblock.

Superblocks had redefined Barcelona, had cleaned up China, and were part of the latest method of city planning. The Vudu-verse superblock was beautiful. Over 92% of the land was for people, not cars.

People are the heart of a community, and the Vudu community is no different. Let's meet some of the community members!

Andre loves to work out. He's a green puffy, so the muscles he has, the more he expands, kind of like the hulk. His turf hair is unique, and his strength definitely deters people from teasing him about a kitty shirt. He also is very loyal and has a big heart. When I was on the campaign to find Trix, he challenged me to help raise money. He said he would do 500 pushups a day until we reached her tag number 2006. He really believed that she would show up if he put that number out into the universe and completed the task. When that didn't happen, he simply added another sequence of pull-ups. After 2006, he said miles on a recumbent bike, and then he started lifting weights pound by pound ten times each. One of my most committed friends.

This is Dom. He delivers pizza for a living, and he likes it alright except for the pervasive stench of old pizza his car upholstery has absorbed. He's afraid he'll never get a date, but he does have his eyes on someone special, and every time this girl orders pizza, which is quite a lot, he makes sure to be the deliverer even when it's not his route. He's been doing this for several months now, trying to get her to notice him. He's not sure it's working, but he is getting closer to being able to buy a new car.

Last week Dom took delivery over to the baguette residence, and the door was answered by Chicken Man himself; and he complimented Dom on the excellent crust, and Don said, "I made it special for Vicky." This raised Chicken Man's eyebrows, and a thought came to him. Maybe if Dom worked at the baguette shop, he'd get Vicky interested in coming to work. Especially if these two had a liking to each other. It never occurred to Chicken man that Vicky would never be interested in Dom. It had nothing to do with whether or not Dom is a hard worker or has a nice smelling car or really really really likes Vicky. It has a lot more to do with a voodoo I have yet to introduce.

Meet Molly. Vudu #2004 is Molly. I'm not sure if Molly is part of Vicky's imagination or is real. All I know is that Vicky feels safe and warm and tingly and happy whenever Molly is online too.

Whenever her family asks who she playing games with, she always says Molly and her parents Billie and Chicken Man smile. Their daughter has friends.

It's good for a girl to have friends. When Vicky was younger, they would say at least she's not into boys

Molly is a whole lot more feminine than Vicki. She likes the lipstick, dresses, and pink that Vicki naturally avoids. She doesn't yet know how much Vicki likes her. I'm not sure Vicki knows either.

Across the street from the Baguette residence live the Pineapples.

Since Marmalade was a little pineapple, Penelope Pineapple has been filling out dating apps. Daddy pineapple had gone to war but did not return alive. Really, there wasn't anyone that intrigued Penelope from the profiles she read. She had the best when she got married the first time. I suppose that is why most of the apps were never finished. She did worry that Marmalade wouldn't be able to pick a good mate when she got older if she didn't have a strong father figure in the house.

At night Penelope slept with her Vudu Teddy Bear. It was a gift from her husband, and it was as close to him as she could get, but it made her feel better. Penelope has been sad since she lost her husband and, she believed that her life was over too. If we got a Vudu doctor to see her, he could remove that red pin before her stress did make that come true.

Marmalade was a spunky Pineapple girl who loved playing and loved her mom. She wanted to love her daddy, but she didn't know him. She was always hoping that one of the dating boards her momma played on would match her up with a good husband.

It seemed like her mom needed to have a man to feel whole. Marmalade decided she would never make it a requirement to have someone else complete her.  She didn't want to be so sad if she lost them. She was pretty autonomous as a daughter. She cleaned without being told, cooked without being told, and gave her mother privacy. Really, she was perfect. Now, if she could just help her mom find a good suitable husband!

Let me give you an up-close view of Penelope's teddy bear Vudu. Both of the eyes are called Nazar Boncuk. They are known throughout the middle east. It is important to note that it is not an evil eye because it is blue and, the blue color, like in Greece, is considered holy and pleasing.

Secondly, the baby voodoo is the only one I've seen with a mouth slit where it possibly could speak, but it's been stitched. It has no ears, so Penelope told me this Vudu represents "hear no evil see no evil speak no evil." She lives by that motto

This morning Penelope had a message on her phone. It was a response from one of the dating apps. She must not have deleted all of them. She has no idea how or if she will respond.

PIE is an activist deep in theirThe Human Investment Project bones. They are Strawberry Fields Forever, Animal Rights, "The Jamie Foundation" one wrist band for CharityWater, the other for WaterAid. The three pins are projects Red: for RedNoseDay, pink for The Human Investment Project, and Green for Green America to lift up food deserts. The big red button eye represents the Red Cross/Red Crescent, and the mint eye, as usual, tells us we can change our direction.

Pie is made of pumpkin, but that's not the main reason for their name. You see, it's one thing to promote causes, but it is another to try to change the thinking that creates the crises in the first place. Pie is actually a nickname because their catchphrase is:

"EQUAL RIGHTS FOR OTHERS DOES NOT MEAN FEWER RIGHTS FOR YOU. IT'S NOT PIE."

Pie reminds me that there are many needs in the world and the best way to help yourself is to help others as long as you have your own oxygen secured. If you are interested in Pie's charities, you can find one similar in your home country. If it's not there, make it. You are the change you need to see in the world, so what are you actively going to change?
